Sports are dangerous...
This is insane. I can't believe that guy is ok. This is why I have always maintained that hockey is way more hardcore than other sports. Dudes are flying around the ice and getting into fights with what amount to weapons strapped to their feet. And I was reading about this and learned about this business, which is even crazier. It almost made me cry. Because I'm just like that. And then I remembered that dude who was skateboarding and lost his board and fell really far and hit so hard that his shoes flew off. Sports are crazy.

Did you find the video of Malarchuk's accident? It's a lot worse than Zednik's. He fell to his knees and grabbed his throat as all this blood gushed onto the ice. Pretty scary stuff. Anyway, if you don't think other sports can be gory, find a video of Joe Theismann's leg getting broken or Shaun Livingston tearing every tendon in his knee. Both of those make me a little queasy.
Yes, I did see that video. I didn't want to post it, though. It was pretty scary, even though I already knew he didn't die or anything.
Yeah, I was going to post about Malarchuk's accident too. That one was extremely disturbing.
