Another place no one will go with me...
I have also always wanted to go to the Ave Maria Grotto, which we started passing when we started driving to Birmingham when I was about 15. No one will ever stop with me. I could stop one of the times I make the drive alone, but how is that fun? Once I was so excited that I looked it up so I could get an idea of what it actually was. I still want to go.

I have heard that it is sort of weird. Like replicas of things made out of trash. Just what I heard, but how bad can it be? There are signs to it from the highway? Come on down anytime. I am not working my weekend this month, so feel free to come and visit!
Yeah, there are signs from the highway, otherwise I would not know about it. :) It's apparently known as Jerusalem in miniature. But it also has some "junk-bejeweled shrines," according to it's website, which is www.avemariagrotto.com. in case you care enough to look.
I'm totally with you, dude. I've always been intrigued.
