It's been a while...

It's been pretty crazy, so I got distracted. Hah, I just remembered my blog name. Anyway, stupidity aside, I had a decent holiday. And a pretty good New Year's. It was quite entertaining. I went to L'ville with people from my small group and while it wasn't what we expected, it was interesting. And it turns out Mark and Ashley were still hanging around town, so they came by and chilled with us for a while after midnight. And then again when we went to lunch later that day. Which was cool because I didn't actually see much of them during the holidays. I also did not get to see much of Dave and Rach and the girls, but I am totally going to take some days off at some point and go see them. Which I hope is cool with them! :) I still haven't gotten the other part of Shannon's Christmas present because it was back-ordered like a month before Christmas, but it should come soon. Sorry, Shannon. I was a little too excited and told her what it was when we exchanged presents. But I was proud of myself for not giving in and giving Dave and Mark the Mercedes-Benz t-shirts early. I was very excited about them and I had them like two or three months before Christmas. And mostly when I told other people about them, they didn't think it was as cool as I did.
On the way back from L'ville yesterday we ended up with less people in my car than we had going there, which was fine and so we somehow ended up stopping at Dinosaur World. Which I have always wanted to do, but no one would ever do it with me. We didn't actually pay to go in, but they have several dinosaurs outside the park, so we took pictures with them and trekked over to the big T-Rex that you see from the Interstate and took pictures with it. It was pretty weird looking. We also found an old wooden outhouse and tried to get in it, but it was somehow locked from the inside. Sad for us. But these people in the parking lot near it saw us taking pictures of it and laughed at us, but as we were leaving, they were totally over by it videotaping themselves with the outhouse. Much like you, Christina, I too only update when I'm at work. So I need to do some more work before I leave.
