Over the weekend, Shannon and I watched Forgetting Sarah Marshall. It was pretty good. I know Rachel doesn't care for nudity in movies, but seriously all the nudity was male. Which is unusual, but it was also pretty weird. I think it was just there for the funny factor. It was actually a better movie than I thought it would be. But then, I have low expectations for pretty much all movies now. There were some pretty funny parts, and I now want someone to write Dracula: The Musical. There were also a couple jokes about Kristen Bell's career that were not wrong, and she took it well. And as ever, Paul Rudd and Jack McBrayer were terrific and can just about do no wrong.
Is anyone else tired of all those Taken trailers playing all the freaking time?! The first time I saw one I was like, that looks terrible! The second time I was like, why is Liam Neeson in this movie? And now, the more I see them, the more I want to watch Liam Neeson kicking some butt. It's rotting my brain, and I haven't even seen it!

Yeah I actually wanted to see Forgetting Sarah Marshall, but the nudity was off putting. And really male nudity is WORSE, so much worse, than female nudity, because really that thing is not there for aesthetics. It's purely functional. And I want to see Taken too! I was like why is Liam Neeson doing a movie in which he tries to sound American, but doesn't really pull it off. Dave and I are trying to finish 88 minutes (someone gave it to us for Christmas), and it too is very bad. Al Pacino doesn't play the role well, and I am not buying him as the ladies man with geriatric fingers. I'm just saying...
Really it's just one scene and you could just not look until that scene was over and it would be fine. We shall have to watch Taken eventually. 88 Minutes looked bad. I really don't care for Al Pacino anymore because he plays all his roles exactly the same. He's all, I'm Al Pacino, my voice is weird and I am creepy and bad at emoting, so I yell all the time. I like old stuff like The Godfather and Dog Day Afternoon.
Yeah there is this one scene where he is supposed to be crying about his sister being "hacked to bits" and he couldn't even get any tears out... he just made this weird face and thickened his voice. Ack.
